How It Began

Genesis was incorporated in May 2021; the culmination of a vision to change the way medical aesthetics can impact patients. Our practice is built by Cecille Visser and Sara Inkser on a foundation of serving community and a belief in the benefits of non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures that help people look and feel better. Genesis promises to deliver accessible, superior quality aesthetic and wellness medicine and an elevated clinical experience.

Who We Are

Cecille Visser (Co-Founder, RNBN): Cecille is a registered nurse with over a decade of experience providing excellent results with non-invasive and minimally-invasive medical skin care. She is committed to ongoing professional development in technique and treatments and passionate about thoughtful, supported, and informed patient care.

Sara Inkser (Co-Founder): Sara brings a passion for business and for serving community to the Genesis family. She is committed to an elevated customer journey by fostering trust and to establishing Genesis as a leader in medical aesthetics with solid and reputable practices and access to cutting-edge technologies.

Dr. Margaret Watty (Co-Founder): Dr. Watty has over 35 years of experience in family medicine, over 20 in aesthetic medicine. She is one of the founding members of one of the first medical aesthetics clinics in western Canada. Dr. Watty is tasked with ensuring that every client at Genesis receives the highest quality advice and medical care and is empowered to make informed decisions about their wellness with accurate data and insight.

Don Young (Co-Founder): Don is a lawyer by trade, and has been practicing for 30 years as a litigator in Calgary. Throughout his extensive legal career, he has practiced in the regulatory area involving securities enforcement. In the private practice sector, he has worked in employment, insurance, media and communications law, and federal prosecutions.
